The relaxed vibe and charming setting of this family-run hotel are notable, particularly with the spacious double room with a balcony. It's a mere 5-10 minute walk to the bustling main road.
A couple of issues dragged down the experience, the mattress was a bit on the firm side, which isn't uncommon in the area, and the water pressure in both the shower and sink was inconsistent, with it stopping entirely once. While the clean shower was appreciated, the absence of soap or shampoo wasn't ideal and could use attention.

Well, it was a really comfortable stay for one night. Its location to Bridge over river Kwai was particularly good and unbeatable. There was Lynn's Cafe nearby to grab something to eat.
Shame the bathroom was not so clean.

Location: the hotel was right by many restaurants, bars, and massage parlors and the railway station and the street. The room was spacious, and we were provided with balcony, tea plus a large bed.

Great place with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and luggage storage. The staff even helped me with plug adaptors on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway. I'm excited to come back for Christmas!

This is a pleasantly quiet family guesthouse conveniently near the train station, and with a rather pleasant view of the hills from the upstairs terrace. It feels like a homestay rather than a hotel, but the rooms are large and bright and spotlessly clean, and while you're not on the river there's a calm neighbourhood air about the place that was much appreciated.. This is also a good place if you want to take one of the early morning trains...
There is little in the way of garden, restaurant or shared space here, and you don't get the river. But the bars and river restaurants are so close that it is nit a great loss.

I spent two nights here and enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the place. Nicky was incredibly helpful in arranging tuk-tuks for us to visit nearby attractions like the Bridge over the River Kwai, just a short walk away. One highlight was trying the delicious vegan food at On's Thai-Issan Restaurant, which was only five minutes on foot and served the best banana blossom salad I've ever tasted. it was a great base for exploring Kanchanaburi.

WIFI is stable. # of TV programs are enough.
The way to hotel is very dark.

charming backroad setting, convenient proximity to night market, well-kept gardens
Only basic soap and toilet paper provided!!! A side lamp in the room would have enhanced the ambiance!!! More extensive coffee facilities in the common area would improve the experience!!!

The room was a generous size. Good air-con. Convenient location and quiet. Clean towels each day.
Bathroom was not very clean. Floor, w.c. and basin were fine but mirror, shelf and doorknob were dirty and encrusted in old soap. Very basic furnishings with no wardrobe or drawers to put clothes away.

nothing special but nice and friendly. Good location, quite, clean, just what we wanted to have. Aircon works perfect ;)
